2009
Events
The 2009 whitewater racing season is upon us and includes several
NRC hosted events, including the Glacier Breaker (February 28th
& March 1st), Bank of America US OPEN (March 28th & 29th)
and Junior Team Trials (April 4th & 5th). Each event will
be held on the Nantahala River in Bryson City, North Carolina.

The
2009 US OPEN was a success despite the rainy, chilly weather.
Many thanks to Chief Judge Laura Evans and Race Director Philip
Young for a well run race. We would also like to thank all of
the volunteers for doing a great job. A special thanks goes
out to all of the athletes and their families who traveled from
near and far to race at the 2009 US OPEN.
